Patron is a 3 year old neutered male with an outstanding personality. He loves personal attention and is very obedient. He does not jump or get on the furniture, is housebroken, crate trained to a soft-sided crate, and travels well in a car if he is loose. Although to my knowledge he has never had an incident with a wire crate he refuses to go into ours at home and will not travel in one in our van either. I have been unable to tell why he panics when you try to put him in a wire crate. He also dislikes very slick floors as he is all legs and does not feel comfortable on them. He does walk across our laminate flooring in the kitchen with a throw rug on the floor. He is low boy on the totem pole as far as pecking order and gets picked on by the top male, which is why we would like to find a special forever pet home for him. He is not interested in lure coursing (the coursing photo was taken as he was running back to me as the lure went the other direction) or running and would just prefer to lay at your feet and listen to Animal Planet. He is such a sweetheart and he hates it when we leave out of town for shows or coursing events, so we are looking for someone who can take him with them when they travel or do not travel much so he doesn't get upset when his people leave. He lives indoors/outdoors and is very good with cats and children. We have a two year old toddler and Patron is very sweet around him and gives him kisses when the chance comes up. Patron now calls Norman, OK home and lives with another female
Borzoi, Bunny, and his people, The Suggs. He is adjusting well to his new
life and reports are that he is quite comfortable now.
