This page is dedicated to those who have touched my life in a special

way and have gone away too soon.  They will always live in my heart forever.

 7/25/94 - 12/14/07

Centaur, although not a fabulous show dog, was a faithful companion.  He was always happy to see you, even when you knew his arthritis had gotten the better of him that particular day.  He was in my arms when he left this world and we will miss him dearly, but are glad he is no longer feeling any pain.

   5/18/05 - 5/9/07

Bee Bee was the sweetest little female we had the pleasure of being part of our family.  We lost her very suddenly to a rare disease and we will miss her dearly.  Click on her photo for her page and more information.

Allie (Del Sol Alexandria of Kyrov) was my first female Borzoi and she was everything I had hoped for and more.  She was a faithful companion, friend, and soul mate.  She left me too soon and I will miss her dearly.  Allie was from the first litter of Susan Van de Water's Borzoi Del Sol kennels.  Please see the Borzoi Del Sol site for additional information on this litter.

                                                                            6/26/97 - 6/20/03

Spotly was just like her mother, Allie, in that she was always there for me.  She knew when to just sit quietly next to me and lay her head on my lap.  One of her favorite past times was to go for a ride in the car to get "spotly tots".  She was a joy to have in my life and her funny antics will be in my memories forever.

6/26/97 - 3/14/98

Nikki was a sister to Spotly and left far to soon, just short of nine months old.  She was unable to develop sufficient titer levels for Canine Parvovirus and as a result, this wonderful little girl is no longer with me.  I hope you are happy chasing butterflies all day long in a place where you are no longer sick.

Aidia was a beautiful Greenwing Macaw that I hand-raised from a baby.  She was such a joy to live with and she always kept all the dogs in line as she called each one by name and told them quite sternly to "go outside"!  She will be missed tremendously.

6/26/97 - 1/10/96

Sorcha - Although this beautiful red girl was never mine, I was blessed to see her come into the world.  She was loved dearly until her early departure in 2006, just shy of 9 years old.

Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.

When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge.  There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together.  There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.

All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by.  The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.

They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent; His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.

You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.

Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....
